"Look out, Twilight! Here I go!"
Finally, I finished something! It's Glory and Twilight from the My Little Pony TV special/pilot "Rescue at Midnight Castle." This is my favorite My Little Pony animation, even though I technically missed it as a kid because I wasn't even born quite yet when it came out. I finally got to see it as an adult when they released the season 1 box set of DVDs, and I love the beginning part when the ponies are frolicking around. ^_^ Glory's pretty crazy on those roller skates.
On a side note, I really, really wanted to do the grass without using the grass brush, but I. Just. COULDN'T. Even with tutorials, I was stumped. At least it looks decent, I guess. I am really happy with how Glory's mane and tail came out, the shading on Twilight, and with their eyes. I used a different technique for the eyes this time, using shading with a much darker version of the main color for the pupils instead of making them black like I usually would. I got that from a tutorial, but I can't remember which one or who made it.
I guess that's all I have to say for now. I'm almost too tired to form a coherent sentence. Work and stuff...you know. See you soon with another finished drawing! I hope.
